Scott has been an Education Advisor for Harbor Freight Tools for Schools since 2017. His primary responsibility is to support the teacher network now consisting of over 100 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence winners.
Scott brings innovative ideas, on-the-ground perspective, and years of award-winning experience to the team. Prior to joining Harbor Freight Tools for Schools, Scott spent 34 years in the Denver Public Schools as a teacher, assistant principal, Executive Director for the Office of College and Career Readiness, Director of Career and Technical Education, and principal of CEC Early College.
In 2017, the Colorado Association of Career and Technical Educators awarded Scott the Administrator of the Year Award for the state of Colorado, and in 2019 Scott was inducted into the Colorado Association of Career and Technical Educator’s Hall of Fame.
