Mylissa Magallanes serves as the LA County Program Manager for Harbor Freight Tools for Schools. Mylissa works collaboratively with a small entrepreneurial team to help catalyze a high-quality, sustainable skilled trades education ecosystem in the region. She supports the LA County Senior Director, anchoring the coordination and administrative functions for all the LA County strategies, programs, projects, and grants.
Mylissa received her undergraduate degree at San Diego State University and her MBA from California State University, Los Angeles. Prior to HFTFS, she spent six years at Cal State LA working in Administration & Finance and the President’s Office. Mylissa is passionate about serving her community and making a positive impact on future generations. She serves as a Torchbearer for Go Broke National Education Center, where she supports the mission to preserve the legacy of the Japanese American soldiers who fought during WWII. Mylissa loves spending her free time hiking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and hanging out with her mini-labradoodle, Milo.
