Katherine Gonzalez serves as the Program Coordinator at Harbor Freight Tools for Schools. She works collaboratively with a small entrepreneurial team to support coordination and administration for national and Los Angeles County strategies, programs, and grants. She assists the Executive Director and the Senior Director for LA County with daily operations to advance skilled trades education in U.S. public high schools.
She holds degrees in Integrated Educational Studies, Communication, and Spanish from Chapman University, as well as a master’s degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. Her career includes experience in the nonprofit sector and a previous role as a Middle School Spanish Teacher. As a proud first-generation college graduate, Katherine is passionate about serving her community and committed to making a meaningful impact through her work. In her free time, Katherine loves spending time with her German Shepherd-Husky mix, Dante. She also enjoys exploring nature and visiting amusement parks.
