Partner Spotlight

Unique Program Components

  • Bell partners with Southeast Community Development Corporation (SCDC) who provides students with career readiness workshops on Saturdays through the summer and fall semester, and organizes a forum of industry professionals.
  • In Summer 2026, Bell plans to deepen the Carpentry program, and will add an Auto pathway where students will learn foundational auto service mechanical skills.
  • In 2025, students restored a campus community clubhouse and in 2026 they will complete new community impact projects: 1) remodel of the school concession stand, 2) remodel the Bell Tech Center and 3) conduct community vehicle safety inspections.

“Summer may be the only opportunity that some students may have to take the class. Basically it’s logistics due to possible conflicts during the school year. Any method to introduce students into automotive is desirable; auto classes during the school year, dual enrollment classes with Cerritos College, and, of course, the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools summer program.” Read more.
