Unique Program Components
- Bell partners with Southeast Community Development Corporation (SCDC) who provides students with career readiness, and financial literacy workshops on Saturdays through the summer and fall semester.
- Carpentry partners with the Western States Regional Carpenters Union where students learn about available apprenticeship opportunities.
- In 2026, Bell deepened the Carpentry program and added an Auto pathway where students learned foundational auto service mechanical skills.
- Students completed two community impact projects: 1) carpentry students built handcrafted cabinets for the Bell Tech Center 2) auto students held community vehicle service inspections.

“Summer may be the only opportunity that some students may have to take the class. Basically it’s logistics due to possible conflicts during the school year. Any method to introduce students into automotive is desirable; auto classes during the school year, dual enrollment classes with Cerritos College, and, of course, the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools summer program.” Read more.
