Unique Program Components
- This pilot program is a partnership between LBCC, the Port of Long Beach (POLB) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
- Two program completers applied to the IBEW apprenticeship and were given “advanced standing” on their application due to their participation.
- The program will culminate in a capstone project and include a series of extracurricular activities and experiences to support students in resume building and exploring careers in skilled trades.

Any method to introduce students into automotive is desirable; auto classes during the school year, dual enrollment classes with Cerritos College, and, of course, the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools summer program.” Read more.
