Unique Program Components

  • Bell partners with Southeast Community Development Corporation (SCDC) to provide career readiness workshops and organize a forum of industry professionals for students.
  • In Summer 2026, Bell plans to strengthen the Carpentry program and add an Auto pathway learning foundational auto service mechanic skills.
  • In 2025, students restored a campus community clubhouse.
  • In 2026, students will complete new community impact projects: a remodel of the school concession and the Bell Tech Center, and community vehicle safety inspections.

“Summer may be the only opportunity that some students may have to take the class. Basically it’s logistics due to possible conflicts during the school year. Any method to introduce students into automotive is desirable; auto classes during the school year, dual enrollment classes with Cerritos College, and, of course, the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools summer program.” Read more.
